Pete Rock Feeling "The Joy" From Kanye's Latest G.O.O.D. Friday

The legendary Pete Rock is thrilled at the response to "The Joy," working with Jay-Z
Pete Rock is regarded as one of the greatest producers of all-time, he's worked with nearly every every legend; from Run-D.M.C. to Nas. But the Chocolate Boy Wonder had never produced for Jay-Z, something he's wanted to do for some time.
Pete can now mark that off the list, as this weeks G.O.O.D. Friday track "The Joy
" featured himself on the boards and Jay-Z on the mic. The critically-acclaimed song provides a good example to fans unfamiliar with the legendary producer how he earned the nickname Soul Brother.
Yesterday the Mount Vernon native took to Twitter to express his excitement for being a part of the song, and to say thanks.
