Promoter Walter Conwell of G.D.B. promotions has filed suit against booking agents at Hitt Afta Hitt Entertainment, alleging the company wasted thousands of dollars booking Waka Flocka Flame for a June 2009 show in Birmingham, Alabama, which he never performed.

In the lawsuit, G.D.B. claims they paid an $1,800 deposit, and promised Waka Flocka another $1,500 upon arrival. The company’s executives were later told that the rapper would not be able to perform due to a scheduling conflict.

G.D.B. was latter approached by the rapper’s mother, who agreed that Waka Flocka would honor the date if he were paid a new fee of $4,000, in addition to a new fee for his road manager.

Apparently, the rapper refused to commit to the June date, and wanted the concert moved to November.

G.D.B. Promotions is seeking $60,000 in damages and $1 million in punitive damages in addition to legal fees.
