West coast legend Ice Cube has accepted Common’s offer to one day work on a film together.

The news may come as a surprise, as the two rappers are onetime rivals, when a war of words escalated to the point that Louis Farrakhan arranged a meeting to urge Cube and Common to resolve their differences.

“When we had our little issues in the 90s we sat down with Farrakhan and he told us why we needed to be brothers and squash it,” said Cube to AllHipHop.com. “Since then, I ain’t never had an ill feeling towards Common. We’ve seen each other on several occasions and it’s all love, like it never happened. I’d be down to do a movie anytime. Anytime.”

Ice Cube’s extensive film resume includes a wide range of films including Boyz N Tha Hood, Friday, Barbershop and Are We There Yet?

Common has found success in Hollywood, too, with films like Smokin’ Aces, American Gangster and Terminator Salvation under his belt.

“He’s in Hollywood and I’m in Hollywood. We are both leading men and we can do this,” added Ice Cube, whose I Am The Westalbum dropped recently.
