The Click's D-Shot Pens Rap Industry Secrets Book, Chronicling Family Success

E-40's rapping brother D-Shot pens "The Click: The Blue-print How We Made It Big In The Music Industry."

With early '90s Rap crew The Click, D-Shot was a hard-nosed emcee that kept family business private alongside siblings E-40 and Suga-T and cousin B-Legit. Now, the Sik Wid It Records veteran and artist behind five solo albums is revealing industry secrets that allowed the Stevens family to endure as national stars from Vallejo, California at a time when few ever dreamed it.

The Click: The Blue-print How We Made It In The Music Industry will be D-Shot's first book (as Danell L. Stevens, Sr.), a success guide to dealing with major labels, expanding an artist's marketability, and anecdotes about industry pitfalls.

D-Shot, who now runs Shot Records, has offered the book to fans with an incentive: a free download to The Click's acclaimed 1992 album, Down and Dirty.

The book is available in both print and digital formats at BigScratchPublishing.com.

In related news, D-Shot's nephew Droop E just announced a Sade-inspired mixtape yesterday.
