Shoe-maker and athletic apparel giant Converse previously teamed up with G.O.O.D Music’s Kid Cudi this year for the “Three Artists-One Song” series. Now Converse has tapped two Harlem, New York icons, one of the ’80s and one of the ’00s, to be among their “The Procession” campaign. Both beat-boxer/emcee Doug E. Fresh and Diplomats emcee Jim Jones will appear in the campaign, which has begun to run now.

With other icons of culture, Julius “Dr. J.” Erving, Kenny Anderson and more on board, the campaign unveiled last night during Fox’s Family Guy commercial breaks.

The ads were directed by Training Day filmmaker Antoine Fuqua.
