Foxy Brown Escapes Jail Time

All but one of many charges were dropped against Foxy Brown, ensuring no jail time for the troubled rapper.

Prosecutors on Tuesday (September 7) dropper all but one charge against Foxy Brown, providing the first legal victory for the rapper in some time.

According to MyFoxDC.com, the news ensures Foxy will get no jail time for allegedly violating a court order requiring her to stay away from a neighbor.

"I always knew I was innocent. And this is all about jealousy," said Brown outside of the court room.

"The DA failed to indict her on all felony counts and three misdemeanors," explained Brown's lawyer Salvatore Strazzullo. "They're going after the big fish."

The sole remaining charge is criminal contempt. If convicted, Foxy faces community service.
