A&M Records emcee K’Naan has had a busy year. The Somali rapper’s song “Wavin’ Flag” (from 2009’s Troubadour) has become a #1 Europe single, topping the charts for 15 countries total, after becoming an official anthem within this summer’s World Cup event. Additionally, K’naan appeared on two songs from Nas & Damian Marley’s Distant Relatives, as well as additional feature work with Mary J Blige and band Keane.
