In a difficult year for Hell Razah, the Sunz of Man emcee announced details of his album, Heaven Razah this evening. In April of this year, the Brooklyn veteran was rushed to a hospital due to undisclosed health complications. Family members urged fans to help with bills, as Razah’s mobility was in critical condition.
After updating that the emcee was on the road to a full recovery, Nature Sounds Records planned to release his latest solo effort. “It was like a premonition. I was thinking about these themes, and my destiny was already in my brain, but I didn’t even know it,” explained Razah in his first comments since his being hospitalized – a label press release. “This is my testimonial. It’s like I’m seeing the future through music.”
Heaven Razah features production from Mobb Deep’s Havoc, Ayatollah, as well as Nature Sounds CEO Dev 1. Appearances include R.A. The Rugged Man, Shabazz The Disciple and Timbo King.
