Kid Cudi Joins Converse's Three Artists-One Song Series
Teaming up with vampire Weekend's Rostam and Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino, Cudder adds his name to Converse's Three Artists/One Song series.
Kid Cudi has joined forces with Vampire Weekend's Rostam and Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino to release a new track, "All Summer," for Converse. The track, produced by Rostam, features Kid Cudi rhyming with Cosentino on the hook and it is the latest in Converse's Three Artists. One Song series.
"When you throw three creative people together it can be tough and nerve racking to get the artistic gears going," Cudi said in a statement released by the brand. "But we ended up vibing really well and I was totally pleased with the end result, a huge summer record for EVERYONE to rock out to. EVERYONE!"
Geoff Cottrill, Chief Marketing Officer of Converse, also added that it was important to bring a diverse trio together for this project.
"It is exciting to be able to bring Kid Cudi, Rostam, and Best Coast together to create an original piece of music that blends their musical styles in a fresh and unique way. These artists are all at different stages in their careers and at the forefront of creating innovative music so it was no surprise that the single came out as great as it did. We couldn't be more proud to have a role in making this track come to life."
