Afeni Shakur To Appear In Court For Marijuana Possession
The revolutionary, activist and mother of Tupac Amaru Shakur will appear before a court next month for getting busted with pot.
The inspiration behind one of Rap's greatest ballads, 2Pac's "Dear Mama" was reportedly arrested in Robeson County North Carolina on April 16 for marijuana possession, says Raleigh's WRAL. Sixty-three year-old Afeni Shakur Davis was reportedly stopped by police while she drove and smoked the substance simultaneously.As a result, Davis will appear in court May 10 to face three counts of drug charges - possession, simple possession, and possession while operating a motor vehicle. She is presently out on $10,000 bond.
