Ruff Ryders former first lady Eve has signed with Creative Artists Agency to represent her in business endeavors. The deal comes after the rapper’s departure from Interscope Records, stemming from frustration over the long delay of her fourth album Lip Lock, which is now due sometime this year.

In addition to music, CAA will represent Eve in her acting ventures. She recently appeared in Chris Rock’s documentary “Good Hair,” and has had a recurring role on the FOX smash hit “Glee.”

In other news, singer Akon has been denied a visa to perform in Sri Lanka. The decision comes after Buddhist demonstrators vehemently protested against the concert. Outraged protesters accused the singer of desecrating an image of Buddha in his video for the song “Sexy Bitch,” which shows bikini-clad women dancing in front of a statue of the Buddah. The protest left four injured.

The concert was planned for April, but has been cancelled until further notice.
