On Saturday Drake will make his way into the boxing ring with undefeated WBC light welterweight champion Devon Alexander “The Great.” However, the young rapper will not be throwing any blows. Instead, he will perform his recent track, “Forever,” in the middle of the ring before Alexander’s bout with Juan “Iron Twin” Urango.

“Naturally, I’m a big fan of Drake’s,” said Alexander, who reportedly met Drake in Las Vegas while training for the match. “He’s a really nice guy and I like the ‘Forever’ lyrics. I’m looking forward to hearing it as an added bit of motivation while I’m walking into the ring to face Juan Urango on Saturday night at Mohegan Sun.”

Veteran boxing promoter Don King also expressed his excitement for the event, and praised the two-time Grammy-nominated rapper for his artistry. “I’ve always loved music and Drake is one of the hottest artist’s in the world today,” King said. “We’ve got the best young boxer in Devon Alexander and this sparkling young singer Drake. It’s going to be something special Saturday night.”
