Rapper DMX will help out a local church by serving as a performer at the church’s fundraiser. TMZ reports that DMX will be a part of the Morning Star Sanctified Church’s Gospel Rap Extravaganza fundraiser that will take place this Saturday (March 6).

The fundraiser is being held to help the church raise money for repairs. DMX will be performing at the church, which he and his family have attended for eight months now, free of charge.

In other news, singer Christina Milian has given birth to a baby girl. The 28-year-old singer is married to singer/producer The Dream.

Milian and The Dream’s baby, Violet Madison Nash, was born on Friday, February 26.

Jay-Z’s involvement with the Aqueduct racino project has just taken another low blow. David Rosenberg, Jay-Z’s partner in the project, is under investigation following reports that a collection agency he owns has become too aggressive with consumers.

The New York Daily News reports that Rosenberg’s company, Unifund CCR Partners, is being closely watched by both the Federal Trade Commission and the state attorney general's office.
