Apparently, rapper Kanye West can’t seem to fly the friendly sky’s without being involved in some kind of altercation.
According to the New York Post, West reportedly threw somewhat of a fit when he and his assistant were placed in business class instead of first class on their way back to New York City from the Grammy’s on Monday, February 1.
“He wanted to be bumped up,” a witness to the incident told the New York Post.

Eventually, West was placed in the first class section of the plane. The New York Post reached out to a rep for West, but did not receive a response.
A little over a year ago, West and his manager were arrested after smashing the cameras of two photographer’s at Los Angeles’ LAX airport which is ironically the same airport West’s flight on Monday left from.

On Friday, Kanye West took to his blog to describe his side of the incident, claiming that rumors of the altercation are false.
“I feel bad that people believe this kind of stuff or any random rumor that is taken as fact because ‘it’s on the internet,” he wrote. “This rumor is particularly ironic because I was actually happy with a business class seat and was offered a seat in first class. A friend of mine was sitting in coach so asked [sic] if they could bump him up to business instead of putting me in first. There was absolutely no altercation in any way. There’s been many a time where I’ve given someone in coach my business or first class seat in order to sit next to a friend I bumped into. I really could care less about where I sit on the plane.”
Kanye continued by expressing his frustration with depictions of him in the media, adding that he is aware of what he calls a “trend” in not supporting him.

“It’s hard to deal with the rumors sometimes. As a good person with a warm heart, it does bother me. I’m not bigger than feeling pain, embarrassment, stress and worry. Have you ever been lied on?? How does that make you feel? You wanna tell everybody it’s not true right?”
He ended by letting fans know that he is “sleeping in the studio.”
“I won’t let you guys down!” he concluded.
