Mike Posner Featured In Spring 2010 L-R-G Campaign
It was announced to HipHopDX yesterday by representatives of L-R-G Clothing (Lifted Research Group) that they're latest Hip Hop endorser is none other than present Duke student and buzzing emcee/producer/singer Mike Posner. The Michigan-born artist will be featured through L-R-G's spring 2010 campaigns.
Posner told DX, "L-R-G makes clothes that I can wear to a philosophy class at Duke or on stage when I'm performing with 50 Cent or Akon. It's class-meets-edginess."
After speaking with DX last year for our Underground Report segment, Posner has since signed with J Records. Updating on his present work, he added, "I finished the semester on December 13th. I had a philosophy exam that day. I walked out of that final directly into the studio. The next morning I was on a flight to New York City to work on my album. I'm putting the finishing touches on my album. I'm in the studio with Teddy Riley right now. I graduate May 14th.
In the past, L-R-G has worked with artists ranging from Kanye West to Planet Asia to Pete Rock. The 2010 Spring Preview is viewable here.
