DJ Omega Supreme Dies Of Cancer
After a lengthy battle with cancer, DJ Omega Supreme passed away last week.
Supreme, born Andre Kyles, was the official deejay for Queens duo Organized Konfusion and likewise had worked with many other artists and labels throughout his career.
Prince Po, one-half of Organized Konfusion, told AllHipHop.com that the news caught him and others by surprise. “It was a total shock to me, the last time I saw him he looked like he had beat the cancer.”
Expressing his condolences and gratitude toward Omega Supreme, he continued, “He was the best supporter I ever had. He was never the type to try and be out front of the show, but ever since I've known him, from high school on, he would come to all my basketball games, my shows, always happy to be there for me. He was a true friend.”
