Snoop Dogg Lends Voice To TomTom GPS Navigation
Snoop Dogg has become a voice of reason to Rap listeners in their cars since 1992. After today's announcement, Tha Doggfather will be personally providing directions. Through VoiceSkins.com technology, Snoop's voice will be a downloadable upgrade to TomTom GPS Navigation users. The download includes the famed Hip Hop voice, as well as unique instructions such as "Keep it G, ya D-I-G?" and others.
"Snoop Dogg has one of the most distinctive and recognisable voices in music,” said Chris Hilton, CEO of Locutio Voice Technologies, the company behind VoiceSkins.com. “We are thrilled to have Snoop’s VoiceSkin available for use on devices made by TomTom, the world’s leading navigation solutions provider. The Snoop Dogg TomTom celebrity voice is the perfect in-car soundtrack.”
Snoop Dogg is the first emcee to do such a technological advancement. The download is presently available (as of November 30) for $12.95 at VoiceSkins.com. There are additional upgrades available. A demo trailer is embedded below.
