Cymarshall Law & K. Sparks Ink Deals With HipNOTT Records
Kevin Nottingham's independent digital record label, HipNOTT Records, recently signed both Cymarshall Law and K. Sparks. The emcees will join artist/producer Nobody Famous, Trav Williams, and more, on the up and coming label. HipNOTT Records, which was started by SOHH.com founder, Kevin Nottingham, is the first independent digital record label to branch from a Hip Hop blogger.
Since dropping Hip Hop In The Soul with Mr. Joeker earlier this year, Cymarshall has been working on a new solo project, Creator's Kid EP, which will be the first release under the new label. Featuring production from D. Slaps and Remot, the 7 track EP is slated to drop January 19, 2010.
K. Sparks is tentatively scheduled to release A Day in the Life, featuring production from G.C.. in February 2010. Aside from being a finalist in DJ Green Lanterns Freestyle competition, Sparks has been featured on mixtapes from DJ Ophax, DJ Meddafore, DJ Blendz and DJ Cool Kev.
Both Creator's Kid EP and A Day in the Life will be available next year in download format via digital outlets such as iTunes and Amazon.
