According to celebrity gossip site TMZ, charges have been dropped in the assault case against Black Eyed Peas manager Polo Molina.

Earlier this year Molina punched gossip blogger Perez Hilton in the back of the head after Hilton insulted Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am.

The dropping of the charges was due in part to an apology letter written by Molina and although Molina apologizes in the letter he also makes sure to inform Hilton that he did in fact instigate the fight with his remarks.

'I apologize for what I did on June 22 of 2009, even though you engaged in highly offensive comments, including a homophobic slur to my clients, I acknowledge that these kinds of issues should not be resolved through a physical response,"
said Molina in his letter.

In other news, the family and friends of DJ AM will be auctioning off part of his sneaker collection to raise money for the DJ AM Memorial Fund.

The sneakers will be auctioned off on Ebay with some of them being sold for over a thousand dollars.

The DJ AM Memorial Fund was created to help people who are currently dealing with addiction.
