Suga City, a two man group from Arkansas will join 50 Cent, KRS-One, and others on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 video game soundtrack. The duo is signed to Conduit Entertainment, owned by Brian Rikuda (best known for winning Damon Dash's 2005 apprentice-styled reality show, Ultimate Hustler), and is one of the only up and coming groups featured on the video game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was released on midnight of November 10 after much hype and anticipation.

In other news, k-os has announced the release date for his forthcoming album, Yes! The album will be a digital release, and will hit iTunes on Nov. 17. This will be the sixth album for the Canadian emcee, who has received nods spanning from the Source Awards to the Grammy's. The song "4,3,2,1," is the lead single off the album, which will see a physical release in February 2010.

Yes! will feature collaborations with Metric's Emily Haines and Murray Lightburn from The Dear's.

Rapper Lyrics Born also has an upcoming album in the midst. The project, titled As U Were, is looking at a spring 2010 release while the third single off the album, "Oh Baby," is now available on his new online radio player LBFM.

Currently, Lyrics Born is the host of this month's Deadliest Catch Tour which features The Gift of Gab (one half of Blackalicious), and Chali 2na (of Jurassic 5).
