Lil Wayne's highly-anticipated follow-up to his triple-platinum Tha Carter III, Rebirth, now has a Dec. 15 release date, according to Universal Music Group's website.
As previously reported, the album will be packaged as a double-disc, in conjunction with Young Money's We Are Young Money.
The album as originally slated for an April 7. Two singles, "Prom Queen" and "Hot Revolver," were released for the album, and both charted in the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Having learned to play the guitar in recent years, the New Orleans rapper will play his new favorite instrument on most of the album's tracks. Guest features include Fall Out Boy, Lenny Kravitz, Travis Barker and Drake.
