Following the airing of the 2009 BET Hip Hop Awards[click to read] last night (October 27) the most talked about topic of the night seemed to be the award shows cyphers.
Consisting of three segments, the cyphers featured Hip Hop artists from across the country rocking verses to beats by DJ Premier.
Artists included in the cyphers included Joe Budden, Nicki Minaj, KRS-One, Wale, Eminem, Black Thought, Buckshot, and more.
“All the love I’m getting from [you] guys is greatly appreciated, thank y’all,” said Joe Budden via Twitter in response to feedback regarding his verse in the cypher.

Even rapper Drake gave his thoughts on the Hip Hop Awards cyphers via Twitter, proclaiming “EVERYBODY JUST GOT ATE!!!! Nicki Minaj is the best female rapper alive.”
