Kanye West can breathe a sigh of relief, as the Grammy-winning rapper/producer had all charges stemming from a 2008 incident at the Los Angeles International Airport dropped.
According to the Los Angeles Times, court commissioner Mark Zuckerman sentenced West and his road manager Don Crowley to perform community service for the American Red Cross. TMZ.com reports that each was given 50 hours.
“I am very pleased the court granted dismissal of all charges,” commented Ye’s lawyer, Blair Berk, to the Times.
Both Kanye and Crowley were charged with eight misdemeanors including battery, vandalism and grand theft. The two were shown attacking a papparazi and destroying his camera in the video shown below.
