This ultra big budget war movie from the director of Bad Boys and Armageddon will open up the summer movie season when it hits theatres everywhere May 25th. The film concerns the lives of pilot Rafe (Affleck) and his childhood friend Danny (Hartnett) during the days right up until the attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese on December 7th, 1941. Don't expect too much of a history lesson though; being a Jerry Bruckheimer/Michael Bay collabo means big explosions, tons of special effects and of course the same chest thumping American pride thats all over their previous film, Armageddon. Regardless of how mindless this movie is going to be, it is almost assured of being the biggest movie of the year and will have people all over the world yelling "U - S - A, U - S - A" after they see it.
