The 2009 Adult Entertainment Expo motto was Its powerful. Its sexy. Its business. While the pornography industry is known mainly for the second part of that mantra, the final part of this years creed is the engine that pushes the skin trade to new heights. In fact, some may argue that the business aspect is more important than the actual bump and grind that occurs on film. After all, the very idea that an individual could turn a profit by selling sex in the first place is the reason there is an Adult Entertainment Expo to begin with.

Stacie Lane
and Crystal Clear are two women about their business in front of the camera and behind it. HipHopDX caught up with the rising stars at this years convention to discuss dating in the industry, a love of strip clubs, being a bigger woman in the industry, and anything else on our deviant little minds.

Strap it up; in the words of Jay-Z, this is The Power of the P-U-S-S-Y.

HipHopDX: How did you get started in the industry?
Stacie Lane:
I needed money. I needed money just like everybody else. I was in college and had never done anything. I never stripped, never escorted and I was like Fuck it. I called Ethan Hunt one day and told him to put me on, I want to be down. I took my career from there.

DX: And how was that first scene?
Stacie Lane:
My first scene was with Ethan Hunt. It was good, it was real comfortable. Were friends, but we never fucked. We wanted to fuck for a real long time, for a couple years, so it was a real good scene.

DX: So why not do it on film and make some money for it?
Stacie Lane:
Exactly!

DX: Since then, hows everything been?
Stacie Lane:
Everything has been great. The Black Market family has been treating me well; everybody has been very friendly and just embraces me. I love it. My fans acknowledge the fact that Im a good performer. I cant complain.

DX: A lot of people have told me that you have to love to have sex to last in the industry, do you like the sex or is it just for the money?
Stacie Lane:
Love to have sex. I love to have sex. Ill put it out there, I have a boyfriend and [sometimes] he tells me no. Come on! Im a porn star; of course I love to fuck. Anytime I can get some dick, thats whats up.

DX: Since you mentioned that you had a boyfriend, how does he feel about everything?
Stacie Lane:
He bought me camera equipment. That tells you right there. He dropped $20,000 on camera equipment. That tells you what he thinks about it.

DX: So you have a very supportive significant other?
Stacie Lane:
Exactly. He backs me up. He lets me do me. We have free range, we have an open relationship. He loves it.

DX: Is he in the industry as well?
Stacie Lane:
No, hes what we call a civilian. [Laughs] I dont date in the industry. I dont like to mix business with pleasure, it never works out.

DX: So whats the preferred set up for a Stacie Lane scene? Male/female. Male/male/female? Female/female/male. How do you like it?
Stacie Lane:
Whoever. Whoever can handle me, whoever can make me squirt. Im all for it. I liked to get fucked. If I can get a real good fuck in, thats what it is. It doesnt matter.

DX: So the boyfriend, does he get to enjoy the spoils of war, with other females?
Stacie Lane:
He gets the fruits of the labor. He gets his threesomes in every now and then.

DX: Any downsides of the industry?
Stacie Lane:
We had a fucked up President [George W. Bush], so the economy was bad, so people arent shooting as much. Were about to go into Blu-Ray, so its going to be real hard out here. But all in all, everything is good, real good.

DX: How long do you plan on staying in the industry?
Stacie Lane:
For the rest of my life. Until the day I die. Im not going to be a performer, but Ill be in this industry until the day I die. I want to have something to pass down to my kids. This is a business. Were not just fucking and sucking out here. You see, were at [the Adult Entertainment Expo].

DX: You mentioned cameras before so I assume youre looking to do some things behind the scenes, maybe some directing or shooting?
Stacie Lane:
My site is about me. Im doing a lot of POV stuff, a lot of reality stuff. Me going into the strip club, 'cause I love to go to the strip clubs. Me going to the strip clubs, grabbing [women], Hey do you want to do a scene? Lets go. Taking women home. Its a lot of reality stuff. Its me and my normal life, what I do on an everyday basis. If I get up and I dont brush my teeth and Im fuckin', thats what it is. Thats on my site.

DX: Is it different shooting for your own site versus shooting for other people?
Stacie Lane:
I have creative control. Theres so much I want to do on set that I cant do. On my site, its about me and what I want.

DX: Anything you want to say to the people in cyberspace?
Stacie Lane: StacieLane.com
, StacieLane.com, S-T-A-C-I-E-L-A-N-E dot com. Fast Lane Entertainment. Holla!

HipHopDX: Howd you get into the industry?
Crystal Clear:
I received an e-mail and I answered it. Ive been doing it for three years.

DX: How many films have you done?
Crystal Clear:
A little over 60. I have three awards under my belt, so Im doing good.

DX: What awards have you won?
Crystal Clear
: I won Hottest BBW Star, Hottest BBW of the Year, and Hottest Dancer of the Night.

DX: Was there any apprehension when you got that initial e-mail?
Crystal Clear:
You mean was I nervous?

DX: Yeah.
Crystal Clear:
Hell no, Im a freak by nature. [To others] Look yall, hes nervous.

DX: No, no. Ive got a couple of your videos at the house. [Laughs]
Crystal Clear:
You hear that? Hes got some of my videos, so you know what he does at night.

DX: No shame in the game How long do you plan on staying in the industry?
Crystal Clear:
I dont know, until I get tired.

DX: And are you planning on transitioning to behind the scenes?
Crystal Clear:
Im thinking behind the scenes, and maybe some mainstream, modeling and acting.

DX: Are there any struggles being a bigger performer in the industry?
Crystal Clear:
Yeah. It depends; some companies dont shoot [bigger girls]. Some companies think its a risk because theyre used to shooting something else. They dont know. We make money, were making you money. I want to start my own company soon so Ill be making my own money. Its hard at times, but you have to stick with it.

DX: It seems like from the jump that in this industry, being a bigger woman and a black woman is like having two strikes against you. How do you feel about that?
Crystal Clear:
I guess I feel okay. Its all what you make it. Ive never gotten any bad comments. Ive always gotten good comments. Its all what you make it. Youve gotta to have that confidence in you.

DX: Whats the wildest thing youve done on camera?
Crystal Clear:
The wildest thing? I dont know, Ive done a lotoh, a cum swapping.

DX: Who was that with?
Crystal Clear:
Im not gonna tell, but it was awesome.

DX: We know the industry can get wild at times, is there anything thats off limits?
Crystal Clear:
I do not double, double penetration or double vaginal. I dont get down like that.

DX: Is there anything that would change your mind on that?
Crystal Clear:
Youd have to pay me a million dollars.

DX: What else can we expect from you?
Crystal Clear:
Youll see a lot more of me. I have a new web site coming out. I dont know the name of it yet, stay tuned. Also on MySpace. Look up Crystal Clear BBW, youll find me.
