According to a familiar cliché, a picture is worth a thousand words. Your favorite celebrities—including rappers—are doing less and less press, but luckily their thumbs and smartphones still work. Instagram has provided a way for them to document their lives and/or thoroughly embarrass themselves for our collective enjoyment. The beauty of it all is that you don’t even need to join Instagram, as most rappers are perfectly fine leaving their feeds open for public viewing. And if you’d rather avoid the IG life altogether, we’ve filtered through the top rapper’s pictures and videos and consolidated all the week’s events into one convenient feed.

This week, YG wishes Martin Luther King Jr. and his father a happy birthday, 50 Cent plays editor for a day, and Cheif Keef gets a portrait made out of emojis.

Funk Master Flex Bashes Jay Z’s “Life + Times” & Jay Z In Epic Rant

Funk Master Flex went after Jay Z in an epic rant on his radio show on Hot 97. Not only does he claim that Jay Z and Samsung lifted their blueprint (ahem) from Flex’s own app, but that Jay Z used his “Life + Times” outlet to gather information on how Dip Set and Funk Flex planned to move in relation to the Dip Set reunion. The nature of their relationship remains undertermined, but Jay Z apparently reached out to Flex via text, and after many phone calls it was unappreciated. Caption: “Really? After calling private for hours you texting with CAPITAL letters????? This guy thinks it 1997 ???? Tomorrow 7pm I got this???? I see you need a tune up and lesson in respect!!!!”

Does Cortez Bryant, manager of Lil Wayne, know his post and caption are exactly the same? Anyway, a couple weeks ago, he stated things were “good” at Cash Money. Lil Wayne has expressed frustration with the label. Although Bryant does not touch on Weezy’s specific situation, he states they are about to “unlock these chains.” Caption: “@LilTunechi built Young Money from his dreams to reality.
