According to a familiar cliché, a picture is worth a thousand words. Your favorite celebrities—including rappers—are doing less and less press, but luckily their thumbs and smartphones still work. Instagram has provided a way for them to document their lives and/or thoroughly embarrass themselves for our collective enjoyment. The beauty of it all is that you don’t even need to join Instagram, as most rappers are perfectly fine leaving their feeds open for public viewing. And if you’d rather avoid the IG life altogether, we’ve filtered through the top rapper’s pictures and videos and consolidated all the week’s events into one convenient feed.

This week, Chris Brown has a few words of regret for Karrueche Tran, and Nas supporst the “I Can’t Breathe” movement.

Trick Trick Denies That He’s “Shutting The Door” On J. Cole

Earlier this week, Trick Trick set the Internet ablaze when a person from his account responded to J. Cole’s “Fire Squad” on the wall of Instagram user Marv O’Neil, as @marvwon questioned Cole’s motive with his controversial lyrics. Allegedly, Trick Trick’s account then responded: “He ain’t poppin “Shit Shit” is he????? I will lock the gate on that nigga!” Of course, people are aware of Trick’s “No Fly Zone” where, allegedly, months ago he denied Rick Ross entry into the city for a concert. Was he doing the same to young Simba? Apparently not. Caption: “HELLO, My Name is Christian Mathis -pka- Trick Trick. THIS IS FALSE!!! False (adjective) not according with truth or fact; incorrect!!! Anyone furthering this false information will be dealt with accordingly. Thank You #GSM”

Cam’ron Gets Set To Retire

Cam’ron’s has had a varied and fairly successful career over the last 15 years or so. His first album Confessions Of Fire dropped in ‘98. You might barely remember that Cam’, who had a thing for absurdist imagery and distinct rhyme schemes. That one featured “Horse & Carriage” and “357.” In 2004, he dropped arguably his best solo venture Purple Haze at the tail end of the Roc-a-Fella empire featuring a medium sized helping of Kanye production including “Down n Out,” “Killa Cam,” and “Dipset Forever.” This year he’s been dropping heat with his 1st Of The Month series, so it’s a little disappointing that this will be his last album. Does this also mean no Dipset reunion? Caption: “Fresh off da flight.. To see my brother.. HUD 6 told me lastnite.. #AChangeGoneCome ..my last album.. #PurpleHaze2 this summer.. It’s been fun.. But HUD said we got other things to do. #Hud6”

At Power 106’s Cali Christmas concert in Inglewood, CA on December 5, Chris Brown declared he was single while on stage with Trey Songz. This had every girl in the building wondering, is it over with Karrueche?! Apparently, a big fight had taken place over the weekend. This included Chris accusing his on-and-off girlfriend of seeing Drake while he was in jail. Uh-oh. Caption: “Being young and dumb is one of my strong suits and emotional at best.
