The legendary Pete Rock and Guitar Center Hollywood are hosting an Evening of Dialogue and Insight with Pete Rock and Special Guests. Sessions will take place April, 20th 2008 between 6-9pm, and will consist of a music education based initiative featuring informative, provocative panel discussions and hands-on tutorials. GC Sessions serves as an incubator for musicians and provides them an opportunity to network with their peers and gain insight and knowledge from their heroes in a comfortable and intimate setting. Special guests include DJ Numark, DJ Revolution, 9th Wonder, and Just Blaze. They will be discussing such topics as Production tips, Digital marketing and distribution, Hip hop culture & art, Label politics, Career development, and Use of technology.

Pete Rock and Guitar Center are offering 5 HipHopDX readers in the LA area a chance to meet Pete Rock at Guitar Center where they will get a once in a life time MPC tutorial session. Pete Rock will show the winners MPC tricks and techniques. The contest winners will have their meet and greet session with Pete Rock at Guitar Center on April 20th at 3pm, the Guitar Center Sessions will continue later that day.
