The Language of Hip Hop Wednesday, September 20, 2006 | Comments: 5 How can you have politicians, parents and critics lambasting the same language that is used to market anything from cell phones to Subway sandwiches? Hip-Hop & Education Monday, September 04, 2006 | Comments: 1 "Hip hop is inherently political, the language is political. It uses language as a weapon -- not a weapon to violate or not a weapon to offend, but a weapon that pushes the envelope that provokes people, makes people think." |

Hip Hop Legends -- Has Their Time Come And Gone? Monday, September 11, 2006 | Comments: 1 Perhaps the best solution is a continued pioneering spirit moving forward while respecting the values and simplicity of the older generation thus keeping a link to the past. Other genres like rock’n’roll, R&B and jazz hold their legends in the highest of regards, why can’t hip hop? |
