California, California, Cali-forn-i-a… With the summer heating up the blocks on my Brooklyn streets, the sun-in-the-fun party must be thumping with all the pretty darlings out there on the west coast. One in particular – Heiress Williams – is a delight to speak to. The 4’11” giant blossomed through the entertainment ranks as a pageant winner, a street team marketer and a savvy business-minded banker.
Taking her go-getter prowess to the next level, she founded MillionHEIR Entertainment and even gave a particular girl (who shall remain nameless) her first shot here on this very site. After chatting it up with the Inglewood princess, this soon-to-be Queen sits down with Beauty & Brains to answer why you-know-who, did you-know-what, how she shakes her ass for the camera with a purpose and why referring yourself in the third person isn’t all that crazy.
Beauty & Brains: People don’t know but you should’ve already had got some Beauty & Brains experience through your girl, right?
Heiress Williams: Yeah, you know how that went [laughs]… When you guys got to do the interview – what happened?
B&B: …It was wack.
HW: See… the interview you did with her was horrible and we, as a company, didn’t like what we had with this particular young lady.
B&B: So, what’d you end up doing?
HW: We had to toss her. She had to go with the wind… I wish her nothing but good luck. One thing that I like in people is the ability to be real. An honest person is hard to find, you know? I didn’t find that she was loyal. She was supposed to be featured on your site, but she wasn’t with the program. After that, we started noticing things about her that wasn’t on point, also, so, we had to let her go. One thing I have a choice in is people having a place in my life. But when you steal and lie, that’s the line that I don’t play with.
B&B: You seem very opinionated for a Gemini. Has anyone told you that you are crazy?
HW: It’s not that I’m not opinionated. This is honest. I got someone jobs. When you get someone hired and they’re making money; you’ve brought a light to a person. When they get that light and they just shit on you and lie to deceive you and goes in a whole other direction and still has the nerve to talk shit like nothing ever happened, that’s foul! Like the interview that you guys were supposed to do, she thought she was the shit! You got most models out there rollin’ around just fucking and sucking dick all day. You know who it is, and I’m not going to put her out there, but you’ll see the transition slowly. I just can’t respect anyone who can’t respect themselves. There is so much more heat that’s being brought to the table because people were there in the process of building her as a star and us as a brand. They saw how disloyal she was and they probably won’t work with her. She lied and she tried to steal, but it didn’t work. Despite my sign, me being a Gemini, I’m still a person. I learned that you can’t trust your friends in business. Friendship has a limit. We’re dealing with money. I have friends that are mad at me who want to get in to clubs for free, but can’t respect my limits. I gave this particular young lady a lot. This was my first episode as an agent and she’s still trying to screw me over and work with me. It’s sad. The choices that you make, you just have to be wise with the decisions you make. And yes, people told me that I’m crazy. They’ve said that I look like Lil Kim and all that [laughs]. Usually, they’re just being funny. I’m not crazy at all…
B&B: Riigghht. Sane people usually refer to themselves in the third person…
HW: [Laughs] I didn’t mean to refer to myself in the third person. [Laughs]
B&B: Where’d that come from anyways?
HW: [Laughs] The guy who I dated thought that I was crazy. I didn’t mean to refer to myself in the third person, but the guy who I dated thought that was crazy, too.
B&B: Your MySpace blog screams a lot about your personality. How does that work in such a confining industry like the entertainment business?
HW: It works very well because I can tame Princess MillionHeir. That’s the side of me that the people want to see when I’m on camera. Heiress is the person who is straight to the money and straight to the point.
B&B: What made you want to pursue that over any other career?
HW: In ‘99, I saw a huge demand for online promotion, but it had a lack of women on these street teams that were being pushed out there. Every time I did something in my life, I tried to do it big. I worked for Roc-A-Fella’s street team and a lot of the girls became groupies and sluts wanting to get down with the crew. I was the girl who wasn’t trying to do that. I was just trying to make money and make some moves. At the same time, I was employed at a bank. I was the number one sales person for three years straight. In the end, that’s what MillionHEIR stands for – "Helping Everyone Inherit Riches." Continued on page 2 »
