Lyricist Lounge 2
The first joint, 16 Bars is a perfect example of what LL is all about as none other than the great Notorious B.I.G. blesses the mic with a live freestyle. Then the first single Oh No just emphasizes the strength of this album. Mos Def, Pharoahe Monch and Nate Dogg all come through to kill the bass heavy beat. LL wouldn't be the same without an appearance from Talib Kweli who is completely flawless, along with Dead Prez. The theme throughout LL is basically battle/bragadocious rhymes. The list goes on and on with lyricists, Prodigy, Redman, Q-Tip, Rza, Cocoa Brovaz, Erick Sermon, Ghostface and many more.
The talent on this album is ridiculous and should be in every hip hop fans collection. What more can you ask for on a hip hop album.
