the box

now when i say the box, what do yall think of? and by that i DO NOT MEAN...

i mean THE BOX (Video Jukebox Network which coincidentally = MTV2 now, and the 2008 version of The Box [that actually has the name still] only broadcasts in the UK)

you remember all the videos that would scroll at the bottom, and when you would request a video the line would ALWAYS be busy? Bone Thugs - Crossroads would play non stop for hours at a time. Fugees - Killing Me Softly was on heavy rotation. Remember it even had a spot where you could give shoutouts? haha. Do you remember the channel looking staticky as hell sometimes, and you had to do some crazy shit to the antenna on your TV just to watch the shit? Towards the end, the channel promoted that dumbass THE BOX antenna that didnt even work. It increased the quality a little, and def saved the ghetto tactics of getting the channel to work where somehow you had to be touching one side of the regular antenna, standing on one foot and pointing the other side of the antenna south, towards Miami.
