Rap is easy...life is hard

     I'm gonna wait till next week to look back at last year...you know, give everybody else a chance to speak on it.I've been around, I've just been chilling. I went to the Mur's concert on Christmas...which was hella dope (although I ended up only getting an hour and a half sleep prior to work the next day due to the concert, but I'll do damn near anything for hip hop). I was out in Deygo (translation: San Diego) for new years eve with my girl at my favorite hotel big chilling...so basically life is good. When things are going good you get to pay attention to shit that isn't really that important...like my nephew's taste in music. My nephew and his boys seem to be fascinated by this garbage cat named Reed Dollaz or however the hell this bum wants to spell it.(They also seem to rock the young clothes look Meka spoke on the other day...they say the chicks dig it...I guess the young ones, cuz my girl ain't feeling it....she's a scientist....Brillyance stays winning!) 

     Dude is hella garbage (I tried to embed a video, but me and embedding aren't gettin along right now). As I tried to explain it to my nephew and his homies, they couldn't grasp that dude isn't really that skilled. Then I kicked a freestyle accurately mimicking this whack ass rapper off the top of my head. Not only is this dude whack...he's fake. I'm so sick of these garbage ass rappers posing. I was happy when that trash ass dude whose name nobody remembers got punched in the face for "styling" on somebody in a battle. I guess fronting is Ok over there on the other coast, out here you have to at least pay some gangs to protect you and not punch you in the mouth for fronting. I know Reed Dollaz ain't paying nobody off cuz his gear game seems to explain to me he's broke. (How the fuck you got dollaz in ya name, but not in your pocket?)

     To other people, these posing ass rappers may not really bother you, but this shit is really starting to annoy me. See, while my best friend is locked down unjustly for murder and attempted murder, two of my other people are locked down for attempted murders I'm told they did take part in. While rappers love to boast about shit like this, the reality of it is...it's nothing to boast about. The REALITY is murderers get put in jail for a long time. I can't hit my closest homie up and talk to him about shit, cuz he's locked up for life. Don't hit me with that product of my environment/we ain't got shit else to live for shit either, cuz I know Africans that have came over here and couldn't speak english, yet are now millionaires. They knew less about this country than you/us, and they're gonna get racially profiled just like me, cuz even though they're from another country, at the end of the day, they're still a nigga.

     It's 2008, muthafuckas need to stop with this fronting shit. I don't have a reason to believe they will this year when they've been faking for awhile, but oh well, I wanna speak on the shit, I'mma speak on it. I should drop "Stop Coonin'" and change it to "Stop Fronting" cuz the shit needs to be spoken on.

Year in Review by Brillyance next week, some of my feelings on last year are DEFINATELY gonna differ from what I've seen on this site so far for the awards and stuff, so check it out.
