I would post up the itunes subcription link but we already burned up half of our bandwith for the month so im doing it ghetto style, use the div share link for the time being and when i cash a check ill up that bandwith lol. This week che grand drops by and shows us just how good everything can be ugly. This weeks episode is short on talk and long on music. Enjoy!
Featuring new and old music by: Josie stingray, Black milk, the dogg pound, george duke, dilla, wale, blu+exile, apollonia 6, eric sermon, daft punk, the clipse, fat cat, little brother
while surfing the internets as i usually do for things i bumped into this very short clip:
while a few of you probably know him from directing this:
or if you like avant garde artsy fartsy film you would know him from this:
and if you only watch music videos you would remember that our favorite avante garde artist used him for this clip:
and if you know his work via that video or dave chappelle's block party thats cool, but take some time to check out his other clips. the guy does some tremendous work with non hip hop artists. ive been up on him since i saw his clip for bjork's human behavior but I still dont feel like ppl are fully aware of the creative mind that is amongst them. So i figured id just post up a few of my favorite clips
okay ill stop youtubing you to death. I just wanted to shed some light on a guys whose work i truely admire. I'd love to work with him one day and think i should maybe actively pursue that. I dont see too many cats pushing the boundaries for videos in hip hop and thats why kanye is kinda lauded by mass media, because he does low brow high art so well.
if anybody replies to this id be amazed lol

looks like it should be fun, i like that ye takes hype out of his picturebox zone, make that nigga work ye (pause) but all that the snippet of harder, faster and its subsequent east village radio rip (the version that has THIS IS TRUELY AMAZING and mark ronson talking all over it thats floating around the net) has done is make me remember how much i LOVE daft punk. never heard of them? never heard the original? you should and you should now (click the picture below):
