A Question That Needs Answering

The Internet has revolutionized this planet a thousand times over, we all know this. The invent of message boards, communities and comment sections has brought about some pretty significant changes as well, and that is what I'm interested in.

Few things in this world have a direct and simplistic cause and effect, a + b = c, or proportional relationship. There always seem to be a hundred other factors that have to be taken into consideration.

I think this may be one of those rare cases of a simple, directly proportional relationship. There are no other factors, no ifs, ands or buts about it. I'm pretty sure this is beyond debate, and can be tested and proven again, and again.

I could be wrong though, that is why I'm asking for your input (unless of course your input comes in the form of...well, you'll see)

typing in all caps = lack of intelligence

Seriously.

Check any message board or comment section, there are always the inevitable people who feel the need to TYPE LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME. Of course, IT WUD PROBUBLI BE MO LIK DIS, BUT STIL U FEEL ME???????

Do these people with the broken caps lock key ever say anything that doesn't sound like it came from someone with severe mental retardation? If so, please share some examples cause I've never seen it.

Can we get an in depth study from someone? A thesis paper? Give me some real reseach people.

Perhaps those of you who reply in all caps can best support my theory with your wisdom. Or at the very least, explain why in the name of god do you type in capital fucking letters.
