Cam’ron has fired back at Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson after the former NFL star vowed to steal his shine in the sports media space — and he didn’t hold back.

During a recent promo for It Is What It Is, the Dipset rapper-turned-sports personality issued a PSA to all the sports journalists and analysts who are threatened by the success that he and Ma$e have been seeing since they launched their aforementioned sports talk show at the top of this year.

After shouting out the likes of Brandon Marshall, Kevin Garnett, Matt Barnes, Dan Le Batard, Stephen A. Smith, Gillie Da Kid, Wallo and Gilbert Arenas for schooling them on the business and supporting their show, Killa Cam delivered a stern warning to those who have in the industry who haven’t been as welcoming.

“The rest of you bitch-ass n-ggas, I’m telling you right now: we here. We here,” he snarled as Ma$e chucked off-camera. “Y’all can make your muthafucking phone calls, you can think what I’m saying ain’t true. I’m telling you now: we the new Source. Murda, [Treasure ‘Stat Baby’ Wilson] and Killa are the new Source.

“Y’all n-ggas scared, y’all moving funny. We came ready. First of all, Murda made the slogan: we do it like we do it for TV. All y’all analysts and n-ggas pissed off, we gon’ make you real mad ’cause n-ggas gon’ start hitting me with the information. I’ma make sure I call my friends up.”

He added: “You know what time it is when it comes to basketball. We on your ass — pause — and if you mad, you gon’ get madder. Fuck you bitch-ass n-ggas.”

Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, who has hosted his own sports TV shows and appeared on major networks as an analyst, replied to Cam’ron on Twitter on Monday (July 3), writing: “Cam you my man but once i finish fasting & get back in front of the camera I’m gone dominate that space [fencer emoji].”

That prompted a scathing response from the Harlem native, who in an Instagram video went in on the former wide receiver, bringing up his mental health struggles and 2012 arrest for allegedly headbutting his ex-wife Evelyn Lozada while suggesting his “fast” is a cover for being in rehab.

“First of all, Chad, n-ggas wanted me to get you — pause — a long time ago,” Cam began. “I said, ‘I ain’t gon’ fuck with Chad, he going through his little mental shit.’ I don’t know what it is exactly, but I said I’ma leave Chad alone. But you’re fucking with me.

“So let me ask you this, Chad: all the NFL analysts — whoever it is, Michael Strahan, ESPN Swagu, Dan Orlovsky — you coming after me? Well, come on, n-gga! You talking about you fasting, n-gga. You can fast and get on TV in rehab! I know a n-gga who go to rehab and act like they fasting.”

He added: “Second of all, n-ggas wanted me to get you a long time ago, Chad. You moving oppy. I said, ‘Listen, you gotta be careful of n-ggas who be headbutting bitches.’ ‘Cause Chad will headbutt a bitch in a minute!”

In his caption, Cam’ron likened Johnson to disgraced R&B star R. Kelly and sarcastically offered him a job at It Is What It Is that he said will pay more than his brief stint playing in Mexico’s professional football league.

“Ayoo CHAD!! pause!! Get in front of the camera and dominate the space?! U on some R Kelly shit,” he wrote. “Secondly u moving oppy!! Instead of tryna compete u shoulda just ask to come on the show.

“Matter fact I got a job for u. On Monday’s u can be our NFL analyst and then clean the bathroom and kitchen after we film. It’ll pay more than the Funddidores de Monterrey (the last pro team you played for in MEXICO) welcome to THE ROW N-GGA!! Lol.”

Cam’ron’s vicious response left his followers in stitches, including rap peers Killer Mike and Birdman.
